The New Characteristics of AEW Aircraft Pattern Evolution in Recent Years
The Airborne Early Warning(AEW)Aircraft has been operational since 1945.When it was young,it played as a radar station in charge of detecting the low air target.Now,manned AEW system has become a C2 node in air battlefield and is playing more and more important role in the system of sys-tem of battlement and OODA loop.In future,as a new pattern,the unmanned AEW system,compared with manned one,only will play its role as an early warning node instead of C2 platform.As far as the fu-ture AEW system,its main characteristics include fragility,collaboration and autonomy.
