Research on Target Height Calculation and Distance Calculation Methods for Airborne Meter Wave Radar Based on Mirror Reflection Multipath Model
This article establishes a spherical electromagnetic wave mirror reflection model and derives formulas for calculating target altitude from multipath distance and multipath distance from target altitude.Considering that the formula has no analytical solution,a binary algorithm for approximate solutions is proposed based on monotonicity.Compared with iterative algorithms, this algorithm can fully converge to the true solution. In addition, the conditions for the generation of multipath on the sea surface, the char-acteristics of multipath points, and the boundaries for multipath height measurement are provided. The multipath points of the same target have the same Doppler velocity and azimuth angle as the real points, and the multipath distance and direct wave distance satisfy the corresponding distance difference.Based on this feature, pairing the detected points and distinguishing between real points and multipath points can effectively solve the problem of dual trajectory and short trajectory caused by multipath. In addition, the altitude of the target can also be obtained from the multipath distance. Finally, based on simulation data, the multipath height measurement accuracy under typical parameters is provided.
