Design of Adaptive LED Ripple Current Suppression Control Circuit
Today light-emitting diode(LED)has a wide range of applications.Because the LED driver is direct connected to the 220 V/50 Hz power supply, the LED is prone to the strobe phenomenon, which causes discomfortness to the human eye and reduces service life.Based on the 1μm DP2M DNW HVCMOS process,an adaptive LED ripple current suppression circuit is introduced. The circuit obtains the current signal of the input LED through a sampling resistor, adjusts the capacitor potential automatically, suppresses the cur-rent ripple, and eliminates the strobe phenomenon. The simulation results show that the ripple is only 1%-2%of the driving current at 65 mA-900 mA.
