Design and Implementation of Remote Cloud Monitoring System for Distributed Optical Fiber Temperature Sensing Hosts
Distributed temperature sensor(Distributed optical fiber Temperature Sensing system,DTS)technology uses the communication fiber itself as the sensing and signal transmission medium, because it can achieve a wide range of high-precision temperature measure-ments,and has been widely used in many fields. In order to improve the intelligent control capability of distributed optical fiber tempera-ture sensing host in the field for a long time,a remote cloud monitoring module for DTS is designed using STM32F429 processor as the core. Its software part adopts direct memory access(DMA)to move data, combines RS-232,single bus,SPI protocol and 4G wireless com-munication for data transmission, and uses data preprocessing algorithms to accurately upload abnormal temperature data and greatly reduce data communication traffic. The power management function of the module can improve the battery life by 3.7 to 6.6 times, and the overall power consumption is less than 12 W.Outdoor long-term test results show that the DTS remote cloud monitoring module based on STM32 has the advantages of stable operation, complete data and low power consumption, which improves the reliability of DTS sensing host field applications.
