VSC-HVDC Low-Current Ground Fault Detection Algorithm Based on Multi-Source Heterogeneous Information Fusion
Targeting at the problem that the fault characteristics of small current grounding fault are not obvious and the fault detection is difficult,a VSC-HVDC small current grounding fault detection algorithm based on multi-source heterogeneous information fusion is stud-ied.Combined with VSC high-frequency dynamic model and VSC low-frequency dynamic model,the mathematical model of VSC-HVDC related data in three-phase static coordinate system is established.On this basis,D-S evidence fusion theory is selected,and multi-source heterogeneous information such as electrical characteristic quantity,non electrical characteristic quantity,electrical fault data and non electrical quantity of VSC-HVDC System obtained by data model is used for data fusion.Then the modulus maxima and reverse traveling wave are used to obtain the detection results of small current grounding fault of VSC-HVDC.The experimental results show that the algorithm can effectively detect the small current grounding fault of VSC-HVDC and realize the accurate location of the small current grounding fault point.
