Design of a wireless vibration monitoring system for hydraulic supports based on LoRa
To address the difficulties in measuring and transmitting vibration signals of hydraulic support during coal mining,a vibration wireless measurement and transmission system based on LoRaWAN was designed.A hardware system for vibration acquisition based on STM32 single chip and AD7606 was designed to collect signals from Piezoelectric vibration sensors. To solve the problem of difficult wireless transmission of vibration data in coal mine shaft,a LoRa-based wireless sending and receiving unit were designed, and a compression algorithm(Lempel Ziv Welch,LZW)was used to compress and transmit vibration data. The computer received,de-compressed and analyzed the data.Experimental results showed that the designed system could measure up to 8 channels of vibration signals, and the compression rate of 1 024 bytes data under 5 dB signal-to-noise ratio was 70.46%,providing a reliable solution for vibration acquisition and wireless transmission of hydraulic supports.
