Intelligent overvoltage suppression system for medium voltage distribution networks under sudden faults
When a sudden fault causes a sudden change in the voltage of the medium voltage distribution network, the phase selection current will have a negative impact on it,resulting in poor overvoltage suppression effect. To address this issue,an intelligent overvoltage suppression system for medium voltage distribution networks under sudden faults is designed.Design a controllable lightning arrester control structure, adjust the switch action, and achieve information exchange.By using an overvoltage sensor structure,high-frequency overvoltage signals are obtained, and external or internal resistors of the Hall effect are used to transmit overvoltage.Design an overvoltage suppression cabinet to effectively control large-scale surge impacts and remove radiation interference generated by high-voltage and surge pulses.Construct high-dimensional overvoltage signals based on wavelet transform.Based on this signal, calculate the power supply duration of the island node per unit time based on the island detection results, and combine it with overvoltage transmission capability to suppress overvoltage. From the experimental results,it can be seen that the suppression range of the designed system for neutral point insulation overvoltage and intermittent arc grounding overvoltage is[-0.8 V,0.3 V]and[-0.6 V,0.7 V],respectively, which are within the reasonable suppression range. This indicates that the designed system can effectively suppress overvoltage and reduce the impact of sudden faults on the medium voltage distribution network.
