战国时期户籍制度走向成熟。户籍制度是统治阶级掌握人口具体数字、进行授田征收赋税征调军士的依据,能够促进人口的流动和家族的进一步解体,还具有对基层社会的治安作用,不但推动封建经济的向前发展,还促进了统一封建国家的出现和发展。
