Numerical Analysis of Instantaneous Thermal Stress in Tubes of Waste Heat Recovery Device
To reduce tube temperature of waste heat recovery device and prevent the wall temperature from being too high,ANSYS was used to analyze the instantaneous temperature distribution and thermal stress distribution under two types of air-cooled heat exchange tube conditions. The results show that when the geometric conditions and material are constant, the thermal stress depends on the temperature change rate. The larger the temperature change rate, the greater the thermal stress, the smaller the temperature change rate, and the smaller the thermal stress. The instantaneous thermal stress in the header section of the heat exchange tube is the highest, while the instantaneous thermal stress in the tube section is the lowest.
