Researchon Field Balancing for F4-class Gas Turbine Rotor
Due to the characteristics of gas turbine rotor, there are differences in its on-site dynamic balance compared to the steam turbine rotor. The scheme needs to be decomposed into inphase and outphase. The balance scheme at the fixed speed also greatly affects the vibration of the rotor at the second-order critical speed,so the scheme also need includes the calculation of the vibration of the counterweight at the second critical speed.Taking into account the inphase and out phase vibration at the second-order critical speed and the fixed speed as a whole, the optimal balance scheme is obtained using the least squares method. The significance of this balancing scheme was discussed through examples, which has engineering reference value for on field balancing of gas turbine rotors.
