RNA epigenetics has emerged as a burgeoning research field following the development of DNA and protein epigenetics.Current investigations have demonstrated that RNA epigenetic modifications play a regulatory role in RNA processing,metabolism,and various biological processes,showcasing significant application and commercial prospects in various fields of life sciences.Studying RNA epigenetic modifications contributes to a deeper understanding of the intricate mechanisms underlying the regulation of biological activities.This article focused on the application of diverse technical methodologies in RNA epigenetic research,with specific emphasis on the utilization of high-throughput sequencing technologies and electron microscopy techniques.Furthermore,this review discussed the limitations associated with these techniques and provided insights into their potential synergistic applications in future research.
