The Shanghuangqi Banner area in North Hebei province is located at the intersection of the middle ore belt at North margin of the North China platform and the south Xingan-Taihang ore belt.It is a well known(Ag)polymetallic metallogenic area in North China.Based on analysis on regional metallo-genic and geological data and background,characteristics of geophysics,geochemistry and remote sensing and metallogenic law of the area we consider that the area is potential to prospect intrusive rock type and volcanic rock type polymetallic deposits.Three sub-polymetallic(class Ⅳ)ore belts are predicted and 10 prospects located.The prospects includes four class A,four class B and 2 class C and 4 targets class A,2 targets class B and 1 target class C.
