The Lushi pegmatite-type lithium metallogenic belt in Henan province is located in the Proter-ozoic strata on the north side of the Huichizi intrusion in the East Qinling orogenic belt.In the metallo-genic belt four lithium deposits have been found. The ore veins trend mainly NE then NW.The ore is dominated by spodumene and lipolite granite pegmatite type and generally hosted by biotite-quartz schist, plagioclase amphibolite and marble of Qinling rock group and Xiahe rock group. This paper focus on study and analysis of genesis, prospecting mark and prospecting potential of the metallogenic belt. The belt is controlled by Huichizi intrusion and Zhu-Xia fault zone. The metallogenic duration is from late Silurian to early Devonian.Spodumene and lepidolite in pegmatite dike are the direct prospecting mark.According to the metallogenic geological characteristics and geochemical anomalies in this area, two prospecting poten-tial areas have been delineated for further prospecting.
