The machine vision is widely used in LCD backlight module assembly equipment,especially in the process of film alignment lamination,in which the alignment algorithm used in machine vision has a significant impact on the actual bonding accuracy of LCD backlight module.A simplified mathematical models of two-rectangular alignment bonding is designed for the assembly process of backlight module and the widely used rounded rectangular film.First-ly,two visual alignment lamination algorithms based on unilateral coincidence and center coincidence are proposed through the analysis and calculation of the models.Then,the calculation of the offset required for bonding between the two algorithms is elaborated in detail.Finally,through experimental verification,it is proved that both bonding algo-rithms are effective and feasible,which provides new algorithm for machine vision alignment for LCD backlight module assembly equipment that can be adapted to different production situations.
