Research on the Anti-Fire Technology of Metal Oxide Varistors
In view of the failure and combustion accidents of metal oxide varistor(MOV)in operation,several meth-ods for online monitoring of MOV are proposed,which can send warning signals before MOV fail and deal with them in time,so as to avoid serious accidents.The practice proves that the monitoring methods are effective and can be applied on a large scale.Monitoring technology has achieved technological and application breakthroughs in MOV devices,which can be used as a reference for other types of surge protection devices.
