In the current military situation,the combat system plays a decisive role in the outcome of the war. In the face of the future strong confrontation combat environment,there are many challenges in the traditional combat sys-tem,and the distributed lethality provides new ideas and methods for solving these problems. First of all,the concept of distributed lethality proposed by the U.S. military is analyzed. Next,the motivation and capability characteristics of distributed lethality are discussed. Then,its impact and changes are evaluated from the dimensions of OODA loop,and based on this,the current status of distributed lethality in the U.S. military is analyzed. Finally,the importance of studying distributed lethality is put forward.
