Smart manufacturing is an important development direction in the era of Industry 4.0,and through the intro-duction of the Internent of Thigns technology,the intelligent and efficient production process can be realized.As a crucial data collection tool in the production process,measurement instruments are increasingly widely used in smart manufacturing factories.The application of IoT technology in smart manufacturing factories is explored,the functions,advantages,and application scenarios of IoT-based measurement instruments are analyzed,and their application ef-fects through specific examples are demonstrated,so as to provide references for the construction of future smart manufacturing factories.
