Over the past two decades,within a new framework of partnership,China-Russia relations have rapidly developed and have become one of the best examples of new-type bilateral cooperation in the contemporary world.The strategic cooperative partnership between China and Russia is built on five pillars:close personal contacts between leaders of the two countries,a shared vision for the future of humanity,the perfect neighboring relationship established by thoroughly resolving border issues,continuously enhanced bilateral economic cooperation,cultural affinity and historical memory.To further promote the development of China-Russia relations,governments and all sectors of society in both countries still need to continue their efforts,striving to achieve five forward-looking tasks.These five tasks include promoting the alignment of the"Belt and Road"Initiative with the Eurasian Economic Union,creating comprehensive logistics and transportation routes between Asia and Europe,advancing the construction of financial infrastructure,expanding the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the BRICS mechanisms,and strengthening cultural exchanges to better understand each other.
