Food security has become a global concern following the outbreak of the Ukraine crisis.China and Russia are playing the roles of a demander and a supplier in the international food market.China-Russian agricultural cooperation is characterized by low level of mutual reliance, different market development, and low level of industrial cooperation.Against the backdrop of the escalation of the Ukraine crisis, the risk of disruption in the supply chain of agricultural products is increasing while the landscape of agricultural trade is facing significant adjustments. In the future,it is advisable for China and Russia to implement strategic planning for agricultural cooperation focusing on the model of"longitudinal chain+horizontal chain"and deepen the cooperation with practical results by building the model to guarantee national food security.
