The Green Cooperation under the framework of Shanghai Cooperation Organization(SCO)is favorable to the enhancement of regional ecological governance and the promotion of green economy transition to lay solid foundation for a more intimate SCO community for a shared future.In recent years,the SCO member states not only promulgated national green development strategies and relevant policy documents but also accelerated intraregional cooperation.Meanwhile,SCO members have to tackle a series of problems and challenges such as low efficiency in multilateral cooperation,poor mutual complementarity,weak economic basis for cooperation,lack of financing,and hindrance to industrial cooperation,etc.The SCO green cooperation is expected to embrace a brilliant future with more importance attached by the member states to green and low-carbon transition,continual advancement of a green Belt and Road Initiative,and the demonstration effect of China's green development.
