The Unconventional Unmarked Comparative Structure in Xiangshan Dialect,Zhejiang Province
There is a special unmarked comparative structure in Xiangshan dialect in Zhejiang province,i.e.我大渠三岁,whose surface structure is basically the same with those in other Chinese dialects,but indicates the opposite semantic meaning of"he is three years my senior".The article discusses the syntactic features and origin of this comparative structure in Xiangshan dialect,and holds that it was derived from the movements of comparative standard and adjective in conventional unmarked comparative structure and comparative structure with haishi 还是.
