甘肃方言表"肚脐"义的词,有"肚"[*tu(˃)]型和"腹"[*(⊂)p'u]/[*(⊄)p'u]型两大类."肚"[*tu']型使用地域较广,"腹"[*(⊂)p'u]/[*(⊄)p'u]型只在部分地方使用,二者大致呈互补分布.表"肚脐"义的词都为合成词,复合式的为偏正型,附加式的为后附型.甘肃方言里"腹"[*(⊂)p'u]/[*(⊄)p'u]型的说法早于"肚"[*tu(˃)]型.
An Etymological Study on Words Denoting NAVEL in Dialects in Gansu Province
There are two classes of words denoting NAVEL in dialects in Gansu province,i.e.words formed by[*tu(˃)]肚 and by[*(⊂)p'u]/[*(⊄)p'u]腹.The former type is widely used in many regions while the latter only in a certain fraction of areas,to constitute a roughly complementary distribution.Words denoting NAVEL are compound words,of which are respectively modifying-modified type and head-suffix type.The type with[*(⊂)p'u]/[*(⊄)p'u]腹is earlier than the type with[*tu(˃)]肚.
