Since the revision of the Criminal Procedure Law in 2018,which entrusted the power to investigate duty-related crimes of judicial functionaries to the procuratorial organs,various levels of procuratorial organs have made a series of efforts and explorations at the institutional level and in practice.In accordance with the Provisions on Several Issues concerning the People's Procuratorates'Opening of Investigation into Relevant Cases of Duty-related Crimes of Judicial Functionaries issued by the Supreme People's Procuratorate,and based on the case handling practice of H City,this paper focuses on the issues found in data analysis and handling process,sorts out beneficial explorations across China,and puts forward suggestions for improving the quality and efficiency of the investigation of duty-related crimes of judicial functionaries from the perspective of conceptual change,the establishment of a multi-level investigative organization system,the improvement of talent training mechanisms,the enhancement of investigative guarantees,and the empowerment of big data.
