Study on Community of Fengshui Woods and the Value of Application in the Construction of Ecological Public Welfare Forest
Sample plots were set up in 30 types of Fengshui woods communities. Based on plot investigation, abundant tree species including 124 families, 399 genera, 698 species were found in Fengshui woods. They distributed over the tropical and subtropical families such as: Lauraceae, Theaceae, Myrtaceae, Malvaceae, Euphorbiaceae etc.. Investigating results of 30 types of Fengshui woods communities were summarized in this paper. And the tree species composition and vegetation types of Fengshui woods community in Pearl River Delta Area were introduced. According to that, the value of Fengshui woods in the construction of ecological public welfare forest was analyzed. Based on the study results and applied experience, feasible tree species and mixed combination were also proposed in this paper.
