The Imbalanced Investment Space of Vocational Education Funds and Its Coordinated Relationship with Economic Development in Fujian Province
Secondary vocational education is an important link in the national education system and human resource development,as well as the important foundation for high-quality economic development. This study analyzed the spatial imbalance characteristics of secondary vocational education funding investment in Fujian Province and its coordinated relationship with economic development at county level, through using methods such as Dagum Gini coefficient and Kernel density estimation. The results show that the overall gap in funding for secondary vocational education in Fujian Province is relatively large, suggesting a trend of first expanding and then narrowing, also the regional disparities in the nine cities fluctuate greatly. The re-gional gap and super variable density are the main sources of the spatial gap in the investment of secondary vocational education funds. The nuclear density curve evolves from a sharp and multi peak shape to a wide and single peak shape, with a clear right tailed phenomenon. The coordination between the investment in vocational education funds and economic development is poor, with strong leading and lagging economic development levels being the main ones, while there is a significant regional gap.
