Potential Self-driving Tourism Flow and Its Network Structure Characteristics in the Yangtze River Delta
Based on the tourism modified gravity model, this study constructs a comprehensive evaluation in-dex system for the attractiveness of self-driving tourism destinations and the travel force of tourist sources. It measures the potential self-driving tourism flow in the Yangtze River Delta region and adopts the social network analysis to explore the network structure and nodes of self-driving tourism flow feature. The results show that,1)the Yangtze River Delta region presents a pattern of"strong in the middle and south, weak in the north"in the tourist source areas and"strong in the east and weak in the west"in the destination attractiveness.2)The network density of potential self-driving tourism flows is low,and the connection between cities is not close, showing an obvious"core-periphery"pattern.3)Cities such as Nanjing and Hangzhou, have high centrality and become the core hubs and distribution centers in the self-driving tourism flow network.Suzhou,Wuxi and other cities are the secondary cores.Huaibei,Bengbu,Fuyang and other 13 cities are in the marginal position in the network.4)Eight cities including Nanjing,Hangzhou and Suzhou are located in structural holes in the network, with stronger control, independence and more prominent location advantages.
