The Effect of Different Harvesting Methods on the Yield of Regenerated Rice in the First Season of Fuxiangzhan
In order to investigate the effect of different harvesting methods on the main-season yield of ratoon-crop rice,two treatments were set in 2023 using Fuxiangzhan as material:machine cutting and manual cutting.The number ratio of effective panicle to stubble stem(RPS),agronomic traits,and yield were investigated.The results showed that compared to machine cutting,manual cutting had higher average RPS and yield,because of manual cutting had more effective panicle number.Manual cutting also had higher harvesting cost and lower economic benefits than machine cutting.Therefore,machine cutting of main-crop season not only helped to reduce the contradiction of rural labor shortage,but also provided a scientific basis for the mechanized production of ratooning rice.
