Varieties test was conducted to screen and promote the renovation of quality rice varieties for planting in Yong'an.6 Yexiangyou series varieties approved by Fujian Provincial Crop Variety Approval Committee in recent years were used for varieties trials in Xiaotao Town and Yannan Street.The comprehen-sive traits including yield,growth period,and disease resistance were examined throughout the whole growth period,Yexiangyou 669 and Yexiangyou 699 were selected for planting and promotion in Yong'an.
