3D Blade Design of Centrifugal Compressor Based on Arbitrary Rotary Flow Surfaces
A set of full three-dimensional modeling methods were developed for the arbitrary rotary turbomachinery blades. The method allows for the design of arbitrary camber line directly on any meridian streamline rotating flow surface. The initial blade profile is obtained by superimposing the thickness distribution, and the distribution law of parameters such as the velocity of suction surface and pressure surface of blade profile is calculated by the blade flow around method. The optimal blade profile on each rotating flow surface is obtained by iterative calculation.By introducing Coons surface model in the differential geometry, mathematically described the arbitrary three-dimensional surface of the blades, and checked the full curvature of the blade profile and smoothed the surface.CFD is carried on to provide the performance calculation and flow field simulation.
