Based on the panel data of China Family Panel Studies(CFPS)from 2010 to 2020,this paper em-pirically tests the development effect of the digital economy and the moderating role of job switching ability, and examines the impact of the digital economy on the income growth of migrant workers and its heteroge-neity.The results suggest that the digital economy has a negative impact on the income of migrant workers, and this negative effect is more obvious for individuals who are in areas with higher levels of digitalization, with lower initial income levels and lower levels of education.Job switching ability has a significant moder-ating effect on the impact of digital economy on migrant workers'incomes, and the improvement of indi-vidual job switching ability is conducive to improving the impact of digital economy on migrant workers'in-come growth. In this regard,it is necessary to pay attention to the negative impact of the digital economy on the income growth of migrant workers, provide migrant workers with vocational training and re-education opportunities, based on the reality of changes in the supply and demand of labor,to improve the level of hu-man capital, and improve the mechanism for transmitting employment information in the context of the digital economy,so as to enhance the efficiency of migrant workers'job switching.
