Evolution Characteristics of Enterprise Ego-centered Networks and Dual Innovation Performance:An Empirical Study Based on Industry-university-research Cooperation
Based on data from 236 sample enterprises in Fujian Province, this study explores the impact of the evolution characteristics of enterprise ego-centered networks on the dual innovation performance of enterprises in industry-university-research cooperation. The study finds that:the expansion of enterprise ego-centered net-works is positively correlated with the dual innovation performance of enterprises;the stability of enterprise ego-centered networks is negatively related to exploratory innovation performance, while it shows a U-shaped rela-tionship with exploitative innovation performance;the strength of this relationship positively moderates the link between expansion and dual innovation performance. Therefore, enterprises should balance the relationship be-tween exploratory and exploitative innovation, actively adjust and optimize their ego-centered networks around innovation goals.Government departments should,in line with the innovative development needs of regional in-dustries,guide enterprises to broaden and deepen the breadth and depth of industry-university-research cooper-ation,in order to enhance the dual innovation performance of enterprises.
