The traditional residential buildings in Kunming have diverse forms and contain profound value.The decorative design of its ar-chitecture carries people's spiritual sustenance and highlights unique regional culture and spiritual connotations.The"Yikeyin"residential buildings in Haiyan Village,Kunming are well preserved.Through on-site research on the well preserved residential buildings in and a-round Haiyan Village,data is collected and organized to explore the form,materials,color,and decorative culture of the"Yikeyin"archi-tectural decoration art in Haiyan Village.This study aims to explore the decorative types of Haiyan Village residential buildings and the val-ue of traditional architectural decoration on contemporary art and culture.
