The research on urban spatial evolution of Guiyang metropolitan area based on multisource nightlight remote sensing images
Based on the integration of DMSP/OLS and NPP-VIIRS and LJ-1 luminous remote sensing data,the construction land data of county-level cities within the metropolitan area of Guiyang was extracted,and the characteristics of urban spatial evolution in metropolitan area were analyzed from three aspects of speed,intensity and coordination.The results show that:① 2013-2018 is a critical period for the rapid development of metropolitan area.The urban space scale has increased significantly,basically forming a clustered metropolitan area pattern with the central urban area of Guiyang as the core,and expanding to the surrounding areas in a radiation state;② The scale of the central city in the metropolitan area tends to be saturated,and the development of urban space is in a bottleneck.It is necessary to explore the ways of spillover and transfer of urban functions,so as to reserve space to improve the quality of the city;③ Due to geographical loca-tion constraints,the urban construction land space development speed is slow and the development intensity is low in marginal cities of met-ropolitan area,such as Zhijin County and Zhenning County.In the future,urban development should strengthen economic and social ties with central cities.
