In recent years,with the rapid development of rural revitalization and the continuous improvement of farmers'quality of life,the demand for rural public facilities is constantly increasing.But currently,most rural areas lack public toilets,and a few have public toilets that are not yet perfect.Based on the method of field research,five old public toilets in Honglian Village,Huangpi District,Wuhan City were selected as the research objects,and various pain points during toileting were identified through charts.The renovation design of rural public toilets in Honglian Village is carried out using two methods:prefabricated public toilets and suspended public toilets.At the same time,the fecal treatment method of a three grid septic tank is used to harmless treat the rural public toilets in Honglian Village.It is expec-ted to provide useful reference for the design and construction of rural public toilets in Wuhan.
