The numerical calculation model for the negative friction resistance of a single pile is established using the large-scale general finite element software ABAQUS.Emphasis is placed on studying the negative friction resistance of a frictional single pile in weak founda-tions when there is a drop in groundwater levels.Additionally,an analysis is conducted on the influence of groundwater level drops on the development pattern of negative friction resistance,neutral point position,soil settlement around the pile,and pile tip settlement.The find-ings from this research have significant implications for designing pile foundations.
