Research on Structural Design of Asymmetric Connective High-rise Office Buildings with Weak Connections
Due to significant differences in the shape,layout,stiffness,and number of floors between the two towers of an asymmetric connected structure,the selection of the main structure and the form of supports at both ends is a key point in the design process.This paper takes the asymmetric connected structure of 1 # and 2 # buildings of Taishan Petrochemical Headquarters Base as an example,compares the types of connectors and bearings,analyzes the movement state of connectors under various horizontal working conditions,combs the structural design i-deas,and calculates and rechecks gradually.For corbels and supports under the condition that the calculation of rare earthquake action is satis-fied,anti-collision and anti-fall measures shall be added to ensure the safety of the structural connector.In view of the out-of-codes situ-ation and weak parts of the project,corresponding measures are taken,and different design software such as YJK,PMSAP,and SAUSAGE are used to calculate and compare the overall structure to meet the requirements of their respective objectives of seismic performance.
