Analysis and Research on Wind-induced Response of Vertical Circulating Mechanical Parking System
Vertical Circulating Mechanical Parking System(VCMPS)is an innovative mechanical parking System with broad application prospects, and wind load is the main control load in its design process. In order to increase vehicle capacity, the application of VCMPS in large cities is showing a trend towards high flexible structures. However, the current design typically only considers the contribution of the first mode of vibration to the structural response, underestimating the wind-induced response of the structure, thereby affecting its design and stability. On the other hand, structural response analysis based on time or frequency domain is relatively cumbersome and difficult to meet the simplicity needs of designers. In order to carry out wind resistant design of VCMPS as reasonably and efficiently as possible,re-search is conducted on simplified analysis of wind induced response of VCMPS.On the basis of existing specifications, further consider the contribution of higher-order vibration modes to the structural response, and achieve a reasonable determination of the wind load standard value of VCMPS,so as to calculate the wind-induced response of VCMPS relatively accurately and quickly. Finally, the study will be ap-plied to a 9-story VCMPS.The results indicate that considering the contribution of the first two vibration modes can significantly improve the calculation accuracy of the wind-induced response of this type of VCMPS.This method can be used as a reference for the wind-in-duced response analysis of general VCMPS.
