Field test study of post-grouting in pile-soil shared force foundation
To study the influence of post-grouting on the bearing behavior of bored pile in strongly weathered rock formations, the self-balanced static load tests were conducted on three bored piles with a diameter of 1 200 mm in super high-rise buildings in Xiamen.By comparing and analyzing the bearing and deformation characteristics of ungrouted piles and post-grouted piles,it is found that the compres-sive bearing capacity of granular and cataclastic strongly weathered rock strara and the bearing capacity of pile are improved greatly after the post-grouting treatment. The obtained static load test data of test pile were compared with the current specifications of recommended values in the geological survey report, and it is found that the side friction enhancement coefficient bsi of the post-grouted pile in the strongly weathered rock reaches 2.24~2.77,which is about 52.6%higher than that recommended value 1.4~1.8 in the code.
