Research on the Shear Strength Characteristics of Saturated Sludge in Fuzhou by Unconsolidated Undrained Triaxial Test
In order to understand the strength characteristics of typical saturated silt in Fuzhou area,the triaxial unconsolidated undrained test was carried out in this paper,and the stress circle curve was drawn to obtain the shear strength indexes Cu and φu.In order to reduce the influence of saturation on the strength index,the shear strength value is modified according to the Pythagorean theorem,and the corre-lation between the shear strength parameters of saturated silt and water content and void ratio is analyzed.The influence of water content and void ratio on strength is summarized by mathematical statistics.The test results show that the unconsolidated undrained strength indexes cu and u of saturated silt decrease with the increase of water content and void ratio.
