Analysis of Ultimate Bearing Capacity and Seismic Response of Swallow Arch Bridges
In order to further improve the theory of tied arch bridges,a swallow arch bridge is taken as a research object, and a spatial finite element analysis model is established for the bridge by using Midas Civil finite element analysis software to analyze the dynamic and static structural characteristics as well as the ultimate bearing capacity of the bridge. The response analysis is carried out under seismic load-ing.Comparison analyses were carried out using the span diameter of the side-span arch ribs as a parameter, and finally solid finite ele-ment modelling was carried out for the steel-hybrid section of the arch ribs. Results show that, after the bridge is operated, the suspension rods and tie rods have large safety coefficients; The main arch ribs are all subjected to compressive stresses, and they are all within the bearing capacity of the corresponding materials, and the deformation of the arch ribs is in the form of curves;the stresses of the concrete section of the triangular stiffener satisfy the requirements of the specification;and the bridge meets the requirements of the seismic design and protection of the bridge, such as the principle of"moderate quake is not bad,and the large quake has limited damage".Under the seis-mic action,it meets the seismic defense goal of"no damage in medium earthquake and limited damage in large earthquake",and under the action of E1 seismic response spectrum, the maximum response displacement in the downward direction of the bridge is 5.6mm,and the ver-tical response displacement is the most 6.7mm.The force is more reasonable when the side-mid span ratio is 0.246.A method for simula-ting the face-to-face frictional contact of steel-hybrid section is proposed.
