Research and practice of Multi-scale Urban Electronic Map Database Design
Traditionally, electronic map data primarily comes from topographic maps at various scales, obtained from different surveying de-partments,which leads to difficulties in maintaining consistency and real-time updates of the data.To address the issues of timeliness and inconsistent product rules in electronic map data, this paper proposes a method for establishing a multi-scale urban electronic map data-base through automatic generalization. The method aims to achieve real-time synchronization and updates of multi-scale data in electronic maps by integrating data from various scales into a unified database, thereby enhancing the timeliness and user experience of electronic maps. This approach can better meet users'needs for electronic maps and promote the development of electronic map technology.
