Research on Vertical Bearing Performance of Steel Pipe Bag Concrete Piles for the Baiyun Avenue Project in Tongan District
In order to reveal the application effect of steel tube membrane bag piles in soft soil layers such as miscellaneous fill,silty soil,and silty clay,as well as the influencing factors and laws of their vertical bearing performance,this paper relies on the edge support project of Xiyangxi Middle Bridge on Baiyun Avenue in Tong'an District.Four steel tube membrane bag concrete piles were selected as test piles on site,and strain gauges were embedded in the pile body to measure the settlement values under different loads.A numerical model was es-tablished to obtain the Q-S curve,pile axial force,and pile side friction resistance.The numerical model results were compared with the measured results to identify the influencing factors and laws that improve the vertical bearing performance of steel tube membrane bag con-crete piles,providing reference for similar projects to adopt steel tube membrane bag pile support.
