Numerical simulation study of steel reinforced concrete middle-length columns considering the effect of corrosion
The problem of corrosion of middle-length columns in steel reinforced concrete caused by chloride salt erosion is becoming more and more prominent. This study established a numerical analysis model for steel reinforced concrete middle-length columns considering the influence of corrosion using ABAQUS finite element software, and verified the accuracy of the model by comparing it with experimental results. The bond slip constitutive relationship between corroded steel bars and concrete was established. The influence of aspect ratio and corrosion rate on the bond stress of steel reinforced concrete middle-length columns under axial compression was discussed, and two bond slip simulation methods,Spring2 spring element and penalty friction, were compared.
