Study on influencing factors of compressive strength and average rebound value of concrete
The effects of water-cement ratio, curing condition and compactness degree on the compressive strength and average rebound value of concrete are studied by destructive test and rebound method. The results show that:the water-cement ratio, curing condition and compactness degree have obvious effects on the compressive strength of concrete with significant regularity, but these effects cannot be pre-dicted by the average rebound value of concrete. In addition, with the increase of curing age,the error values of compressive strength of con-crete with different water-binder ratio, curing conditions and compaction degree gradually decrease, while the error values of average re-bound values are at a high level. When the phenomenon of insufficient rebound value is encountered in engineering practice,it should be combined with coring or other more reliable testing methods.
