The strong tamping,vibro-punching with/without filler, vibrating immersed tube rubble pile, and percussive crushing processes are the commonly used processes for reinforcing liquefiable sandy soil foundations at present, but the selection of the processes often relies on experience.Comparative analysis and comprehensive evaluation of the various types of technology, engineering foundation treatment in a coastal sandy soil foundation, the analysis concluded that:tamping, vibratory immersed tube, impact crushing process of the total cost is rela-tively low, while the vibro-punching process of the total cost of the process is higher than its 3~5 times;tamping is only the depth of 3.15 m~6.15 m within the standard penetration of the soil foundations of the number of hits to enhance the vibro-punching process for depths of 5.15m above the standard penetration of the soil foundations. The vibro-punching process can improve the standard penetration number of foundation soil significantly, the effect of vibro-sinking tube process is relatively more balanced, and the effect of ramming process is the worst;the filler vibro-punching process and the vibro-sinking tube process have larger transient surface wave speed increment and dee-per lifting range, and the transient surface wave speed increment and lifting range of the ramming process are relatively small;the filler vi-bro-punching process has the best comprehensive performance among all the processes.
