The study took the six-year-old mixed forests of Cunninghamia lanceolata and Liquidambar formosana and pure forests in Shaowu,Fujian as the research objects, and studied the growth differences and soil nutrient changes of different forest stands after the mixed forests of C.lanceolata and L.formosana.The results showed that the mixed forests of C.lanceolata and L.formosana can promote the growth of C.lanceolata saplings, among which the growth of C.lanceolata in the mixed forest model of C.lanceolata 2:L.formosana 1(2:1)was higher.Compared with the pure C.lanceolata forests, the average tree height and average breast diameter increased by 7.14%and 7.05%respectively.At the same time, the mixed forest of C.lanceolata and L.formosana can significantly improve the soil fertility of the original C.lanceolata forest.
