Cultural leadership not only concerns the direction of a country's cultural development,but also involves political stability,ethnic identity and ideological security.Cultural leadership combines the dual meanings of culture and leadership,and it is necessary to sort out the connotations of leadership and culture respectively in order to accurately understand and grasp the connotation of cultural leadership.Classic Marxist writers have developed basic ideas about cultural leadership in their practical exploration of leading the workers'movement and proletarian revolution.During the period of revolution,construction and reform,the CPC has always attached great importance to the construction of cultural leadership to ensure the correct direction and strong impetus for cultural development.The construction of the CPC's cultural leadership in the new era should adhere to and strengthen the overall leadership of the Party,adhere to the people-centered principle,and consolidate the cultural subjectivity of the Chinese nation.
