象草在花岗岩侵蚀劣地的适应性及其水土保持效应

在福建长汀县河田地区强度侵蚀坡地种植象草并进行盆栽试验,分析了象草在侵蚀劣地上生长的生物学特性及其对土壤物理性状的影响.结果表明:象草分蘖快、根系发达、适应性强,能有效改善土壤物理性状,保水保土效益显著,是一种有推广价值的水土保持草种.
The experiment of planting Pennisetum purpureum in intensively eroded slope land was made in the district of Hetian, Changting County, Fujian, and the pot experiment was made simultaneously to investigate the biological characteristics of P. purpureum and its effects on soil physical properties. It was discovered that P. purpureum possesses the characteristics of quick tilling, flourishing system of roots and high adaptability so as to improve soil physical properties. The benefits of planting P. purpureum in eroded slope land were notable in soil and water conservation. P. purpureum is a type of herbaceous species worth popularization.
