Effects of standing bamboos and age structure on shoot yield of Pleioblastus amarus
Setting different ratio of age and management density in unit area, using the orthogonal experimental design of two regressions of two factors, effects of stand structure on the shoot yield of Pleioblastus amarus were investigated.According to the shooting condition, the local bamboo shoots producing period of Pleioblastus amarus was determined, and the optimal experimental design was adopted,to provide the theoretical basis for the management of Pleioblastus amarus. The results showed as follows.Bamboo shoots trend of producing was increasing followed by decreasing. The peak period of local bamboo shoots producing was from April 16 to April 23.When the optimal experimental design was the management density of 12500 · hm-2 and the age structure was 1∶1,the local Pleioblastus amarus's shoot yield was the highest.
