Control Effects of Seed Soaking and Spraying at Seedling Stage with Difenoconazole on Maize Top Rot Disease
In order to explore and screen feasible new methods for the prevention and control of fresh maize top rot disease, the effects of difenoconazole alone and in combination with other antibacterial agents on the occurrence of corn top rot disease were analyzed by soaking corn seeds and spraying at the seedling stage. The results showed that the seed soaking with difenoconazole(1000 times liquid),difenoconazole(1000 times liquid)added with acidified water, and acidified water was safe for the maize emergence, and the control effects on the top rot disease were 60.49%,59.79%and 51.75%,respectively.After spraying difenoconazole(56.25 g·hm-2),difenoconazole(28.12 g·hm-2)added with Zhongshengmycin(10.55 g·hm-2),and Zhongshengmycin(21.09 g·hm-2)at the seedling stage of maize, the control effects on the top rot disease were 57.42%,78.22%and 83.04%,respectively.The seed soaking and seedling spraying with difenoconazole could significantly inhibit the occurrence of top rot disease, but its disease control effect was significantly lower than that with Zhongshengmycin, and that with the combination of difenoconazole and Zhongshengmycin. Therefore, the combination of difenoconazole and Zhongshengmycin could be considered in the field application to increase its control effect on the disease.
